Look, online shopping isn't for the squeamish. It's full of indecision, impulse, guesswork, witchcraft and voodoo. Basically, you are shopping for a product based on a small image that may or may not represent the product you end up with along with a handful of reviews that seem cookie cutter at best. It's 'mano -e mano' - you, against 'the man' will you find a diamond in the rough or will you get hit with a blazing fireball from across the room? All too often we pick ourselves up off the floor and request a return then venture out on our drive of shame to the package store to send back the return. I for one hate dusting off flames and making that drive so I have learned to really concentrate on the reviews. No so much for how long they are but for how much time a user invests in telling his or her opinion of a product. To these ends I hope you can see I have invested more than a cursory second here. I've invested some time. Some time to tell you this product is simply the best shaver for the price point. In truth, likely the best shaver up to twice the price. It cuts clean. No face ripping rotary action with this thing. The blades are swift. They lift and cut so close the end results really does feel like a blade. I know, I know you are skeptical. I am here to tell you, don't be. When you buy this, your late night impulse buy will transform into one of your smarter shopping choices in quite some time. This thing just works and it works all week on a single charge. The grip is rubberized on the underside where the on/off toggle is manipulated while the backside is crafted from injection molded plastics and metalic acceents that wrap everything together. You will find the flip up trimmer pocket it molded into the back with an oversized pop up release latch that is rippled just enough to provide a thumb grip but not so much where you feel the ripples when you hold the shaver during shaving. Did I mention this thing shaves smooth and close? if not, let me do so. This shaver is by far the best sub 100 dollar shaver I've had the pleasure of owning. Initially, I bought it to keep it in my truck and use on my 1 hour morning commute when short on wake up sink time but once I realized this thing out performs my "old" shaver I dumped the old one and now keep this one on the ready near my sink. I know what you are thinking, you are thinking this thing can't be so good. If it were, it would cost more. I'm here to tell you nothing could be further from the truth and as an added bonus this shaver cuts wet too! Yes, that's right, I said it. This thing works wet or dry and outperforms every shaver I've owned. This is a great buy, perhaps dollar for dollar the best shaver you can buy under a hundred bucks, period. Not sold yet? Well let me go one further. Norelco, hands down, no argument has provided the best after product support I've had the pleasure of communicating with through and Amazon sale. Honestly, there is nothing I dislike about this shaver other than a general lack of accessories that come shipped with it. I would buy this thing again in a heart beat and, as a result of the excellent customer service I received I will likely be a Norelco guy for the duration. I urge you in the strongest possible way to chose this shaver unless you absolutely feel you must spend the most money and secretly hope to be roasted by a 12' diameter fireball.

Revolutionized Cleaning
So I'm late to the game on this taking water and not being hurt. I got my first Norelco floating triple head shaver in the late 80's in my late 30's. My drinking was getting so bad I thought it would help. Besides, I always thought the TV commercial was cool where it rode over the rolling hills on its rotating, floating blades. Anyway, I'll get right to it here. Been looking at them for new (have always had one now) and I'm seeing this wet shaving stuff advertised and clean them with water, and I'm simply refusing my brain to believe it because my mind is controlling my thinking. Anyway, I look for months because the one looking like the shape I've always had is a creepy blue instead of maroon or grey so I put it off still looking. I finally spring for the blue and weeks later put together the aqua and stuff. The cleaning with water is what absolutely blew my mind. I've been disassembling these heads for over 30 years and was a motor vehicle technician for 47 so I had procedure, dude. Putting my flipped open head in running water for the first time was like easing my hand into an open flame to see how much I could take. Anyway, I keep doing it now knowing they sealed this baby up and I do it with confidence. This time saver alone is worth the entire purchase price if you've worked a toothbrush in these bad boys for as long as I have. Another nice thing with my newest one here Aquatec man, is the battery charge holding capacity. Very pleased with it. At first I wanted a faster spinning motor, but came to understand the work it is doing at low end torque like a diesel engine and got happy with it. I know most of you are probably well aware of the water compatibility feature, and probably for years, but trust an old mechanic, I know more than you.
